API GROUP WELCOMES ANDY MCCLEERY AS GENERAL MANAGER OF ANCO

APi Group welcomes Andy McCleery as general manager of Anco
May 8, 2007 - Andy McCleery and his family recently came to APi from Washington D.C. where he served with the Army’s “Old Guard” at Arlington National Cemetery. Andy was responsible for planning numerous high-level ceremonies and special events while assigned at The Old Guard to include security for the State of the Union Address.
Andy started at APi Group in the Leader Development Program in October of 2006. In March of this year he was selected as the General Manager of Anco Products, Inc in Elkhart, IN.
Both Andy and his wife, Heather, are graduates of the United States Military Academy at West Point, and both deployed numerous times during their military careers. They have two children, Rachael and AJ, with another due in July of this year.
Experience / Education:

Experience / Education:
- Graduated with an Industrial Engineering Degree from West Point, 1998
- Fundamental Engineer – Industrial Engineering (State of New York)
- Recipient of the MacArthur Leadership Award for the 101st Airborne Division in 2000.
- Commanded two companies in the 101st Airborne Division, and lead them during combat operations in Iraq. Recipient of the Bronze Star for actions taken to secure two downed Blackhawk helicopters.
