API GROUP WELCOMES INTERNATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION, INC.

November 1, 2007 - International Fire Protection, Inc., IFP, the newest member of the APi family, is one of the largest fire protection companies in the southeast because of it's emphasis on customer service. Started in June of 1990, IFP has grown from 2 employees to over 300. Headquartered in Madison, Alabama, IFP has additional locations in: Birmingham, Alabama, Mobile, Alabama, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Little Rock, Arkansas, Plant City, Florida, Atlanta, Georgia, Savannah, Georgia, Tifton, Georgia, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Nashville, Tennessee and Houston, Texas.

IFP has developed a relationship with and continues to work with a variety of businesses and contractors. IFP is organized into four customer service groups:

* Inspection
* Service
* Contracts
* Alarm & Detection

IFP's capabilities include design, fabrication, installation, service and inspection of all types of fire sprinkler systems. Their factory trained special hazards personnel provide turn-key systems from design to installation and testing. They have trained technicians who install, service and inspect a variety of alarm and detection systems. Their design/engineer technicians use the latest release of AUTO CAD design software utilities to generate working drawings for installation of security and access control systems. They have the capability of using the customer’s electronic or paper format to create drawings for system installation and archives.

IFP stresses continued education and training with safety being their highest priority. Their goal is to improve the state of the fire protection industry, improve life safety and provide the best property protection available. Because of this, IFP has expanded into twelve cities to serve a customer base located in fourteen different states.
