This new Opus, Design—Build campus consists of multiple phases. The total plan is for 1.5-million-square-feet of office and light manufacturing. Once completed in 2007, over 3,000 Medtronic CRM employees will be situated at the campus.
LeJeune fabricated over 1,600 tons of structural steel in their Minneapolis Shop. Engineering and Drafting was also completed in Minneapolis by LeJeune's "in-house" professional staff. The building features a "Link" corridor for access to adjacent structure. The Link is framed at all eight levels. Composite metal deck is prevalent throughout the 383,500 square foot building. The steel braced frame comprises of six bays of Chevron style hallow structural steel sections. The pre-cast facade is be supported by steel outriggers shop attached to the LeJeune Columns.
