Vipond Fire Protection (Alberta) receives special dividend
rebate from the Workers' Compensation Board
The Workers´ Compensation Board (WCB) - Alberta is a not-for-profit organization legislated to administer the workers’ compensation system for the province. Through the payment of premiums, 117,000 employers fund this no-fault system to provide compensation for workplace injuries and occupational diseases to over 1.5 million workers.
Vipond Alberta has performed accident, incident and claim-cost free for approximately 3.5 years now, which is exemplary! With the addition of the special dividend rebate, Vipond's total experience rating performance rebate for the calendar year 2005 is now $143,617.38

Vipond's leadership is directly instrumental by securing improvements in technical training curriculum, introduction and implementation of pensions for installation personnel, and labour agreements.
In 2001, Vipond introduced and continues to sponsor the National Safety Award and Gordon M. Vipond Memorial Trophy, which has been presented annually through the Canadian Construction Association.
