Located Superior, Wis., J. Koski specializes in land clearing, pipe yard construction/restorations and equipment transportation.
"We are excited to acquire J. Koski since it is a niche business supporting the oil and natural gas industry," said APi Group CEO and President, Russ Becker. "John [president of J. Koski] is a young energetic leader who will bring a lot to our organization."
Before its founding in 2005, John Koski established a logging business right out of college in 1999. He became interested in pipeline construction and established his second company, J. Koski.
"Everyday has a different set of challenges - that's what drives me to this business," Koski said.
The company offers Right-of-Way (ROW) maintenance, builds infrastructure ahead of projects and transports materials for energy companies, such as crane mats.
"I feel honored to join the APi family," Koski said. "It makes our smaller business more legitimate to compete in the market." John is excited about the ability to pursue larger jobs than his company has in the past.
J. Koski joins sister companies: ASDCO, Arrowhead Refrigeration and Plaunt Plumbing and Heating that are under the Jamar umbrella.
