June 8, 2010 - MINNEAPOLIS (June 8, 2010) - APi National Service Group (NSG), the nation's second largest self-performing provider of code-required testing and inspections, repair/maintenance, and retrofits of building fire suppression and life safety systems, announced today the addition of Todd Merlette to its National Accounts team as a project manager. Merlette will be based in the organization';s Buffalo, N.Y., office.

Prior to joining APi NSG, Merlette spent 10 years as a field support specialist and service manager with Hagemeyer North America and 12 years in maintenance technician roles for electronics manufacturers and the U.S. Navy. He is NICET III (Special Hazard Systems) and NICET I (Fire Alarm Systems) certified and has earned several other code compliance, hazardous materials and fire inspection, maintenance and repair certifications. Merlette holds a degree in electronics from the U.S. Navy and resides in Eden, N.Y.
