CIO JULIUS CHEPEY JOINS API GROUP

CIO Julius Chepey joins APi Group
January 31, 2010 - On February 1, Julius Chepey will join APi Group as its new chief information officer (CIO). Julius will be responsible for the strategic leadership and value generation of the Information Technology function at APi.
Julius was the vice president of information technology at J.D. Irving Limited in New Brunswick, Canada, and prior to that was the CIO and vice president of information technology at M.A. Mortenson Construction in Minneapolis. Julius holds a Master of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
"Information Technology at APi is critical to our long-term success," said Greg Keup, chief financial officer. "Julius brings with him the leadership skills along with technology and construction experience to lead this important function at APi."
Brad Bechel, APi Group IS/IT director, and Sandy Barker, manager of systems conversion, will report to Julius. Julius will report to Greg Keup.
