TCF Bank Stadium Opens

September 14, 2009 - Sept. 14, 2009 - The new University of Minnesota TCF Bank Stadium opened Saturday to kick off the Gopher's 2009-football season. LeJeune Steel Co. provided the structural steel for the fast-paced project.

“The stadium was very impressive,” said Carol Dittel, administration assistant at APi Group Inc. “It was a good feeling to have the Gophers back on campus.” Dittel has been a season ticket holder for 30 years.

As a former U of MN football player, APi Distribution's Operations Manager John Kuduk was welcomed on the field to bring out the current football team.

“This open-air stadium is a true college football experience,” Kuduk said.

APi Group congratulates LeJeune and its employees on a job well done.
