The award is based upon the company's incident rates in 2008 being less than the composite rates of the last three years.
Other qualifications included the company's total number of recordable injuries, cases with days away from work, man hours, and the total number of work injuries.
“Our clients look for qualified contractors to maintain a working relationship with, and safety is one of the main factors,” Kelly said. “Our EMR rate and how seriously we take safety has allowed us to maintain these relationships and stay on the team.”
