MECHANICAL, INC. COMPLETED WORK ON THE PHASE II EXPANSION
OF ALLIANZ LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY

Doody Mechanical,
Inc. completed work on the Allianz Life Insurance Company
phase II project in Golden Valley, Minnesota. Due to an increase
in business Allianz has tripled it's production and doubled it's
employees in the last five years. Because of this rapid growth
Allianz has decided to expand their campus in order to increase
efficiency and support the company's growth. The project was completed in November 2006.
Allianz offers annuities, universal
life insurance, long-term care insurance, and other products
that help individuals and employers meet their financial security
requirements. Allianz's parent company, Allianz AG, was ranked as the 14'th largest corporation in the world based on revenue (Fortune, August 2005). Allianz AG employs over 177,000 people worldwide and is one of the world's largest integrated financial services organizations with operations in 70 countries around the globe.

Doody Mechanical provided the mechanical systems
on the phase I project, which consisted of, 400,000 sq. ft.
of office space in their North American corporate headquarters.
This project was completed in 2001.
The phase II project consists of 200,000
sq. ft. of office space with an auditorium, fitness center,
data room and a link to the corporate building as well as
a parking ramp addition. |

Ground breaking
for the parking ramp addition started May 4, 2005. Doody Mechanical
installed underground plumbing in July 2005. They also installed a hot water heating
and cooling system in the office space.
Project Fun Facts
- The HVAC system could cool 650 homes and heat 200 homes.
- All the sheet metal in the building weighs about as much as 200 cars.
- 16,000 gallons of anti-freeze mix in the heating and cooling system - that is enough to winterize 5,333 cars.
