Custom garage doors are constructed of wood flush sections insulated with a
1 3/8 inch polystyrene foam core. The doors are overlayed with clear cedar in various patterns. Most doors have 1/2 inch insulated glass. The doors have an R-Value of 7.

All double garage doors are installed with 3 inch, heavy duty, commercial grade track and hardware. Single garage doors are also installed with a heavier track and hardware compared to standard residential garage doors.

In the picture above the floor was sloped by 1 inch so TCGD cut the bottom of the door to match the slope of the floor. The architect designed the double wide garage door to make it look like 2 single doors. Darker wood was used in the middle to create the desired effect.
