APi Group welcomes Mike Shands
Mike Shands, his wife, Lisa, and daughter, Hannah, recently arrived to APi Group from West Point, NY where he served as the Policy and Regulations Advisor to the Corps Commandant and Brigade Commander. Mike retired from the Army after 23 years of active service. Mike will serve as APi Group’s Director of Training and Development. His immediate responsibilities include management of APi’s Leadership Development Program, Warrior Program and Group-wide leadership and training initiatives.
Viking once again sets the standard in safety
The Duluth office of Viking Automatic Sprinkler won the 2006 Jeff Jensen Memorial Construction Safety Excellence Award. Grunau selected to help construct a wind tunnel to test race cars
Jacobs Technology announced they received a contract from Wind Shear Inc., to design and construct the first motorsports 180 mph wind tunnel, consisting of a rolling road to test full-scale NASCAR race cars. The $40 million wind tunnel will be constructed in Concord, N.C.
