Lloyd Bushong and his wife Diana are new arrivals to the Bismarck, ND area, moving there from Michigans' Upper Peninsula. Lloyd has accepted the position of president and CEO of Industrial Contractors, Inc. (ICI) taking over the reins from Bob Nelson. Western States Fire Protection Co.'s Dallas team will design and install the fire protection systems for the Winspear Opera House located in Dallas, Texas. Systems include standpipes, wet, dry, and preaction fire sprinkler systems with 2,543 sprinkler heads along with special noise and vibration requirements for the installation of piping. Davis-Ulmer Sprinkler Co. installed 12 AFFF (low expansion foam) fire protection sprinkler systems for the new 152,000 sq. ft Blackhawk & Chinook helicopter maintenance hangar at Fort Drum, New York. This hangar was a design build project and Davis-Ulmer was part of the design team that was responsible for creation of project drawings and design specifications.
