Shane Shipman APi Group employed Shane Shipman in June 2006 after he served five years in the United States Army. He was hired into the APi Leadership Development Program, a comprehensive training program developed to prepare leaders for future critical roles within APi.
Prior to APi Group, Shane served at Fort Polk, Louisiana where the Army’s Joint Readiness Training Center is located. He held a variety of demanding leadership roles including a combat tour in Iraq from March 2003-2004.
Shane was most recently a project manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers where he was responsible for all military construction projects on Fort Polk. Additionally, he served as a team leader for a Forward Engineer Support Team responsible for providing engineering expertise to units in combat theaters.
Shane's new role is Larson Electric System’s Vice President of Operations. His immediate responsibilities include the planning, productivity and day to day operations of the company.
