Industrial Fabricators and Jamar Company Win the X-Cup Award for Excellence in Loss Prevention and Risk Management

IFI Staff Accepts X-Cup Award

Industrial Fabricators and Jamar Company recently picked up the 1st Annual X-Cup awards from the APi Group, Inc. Risk Management Department. The awards were given to recognize each Company’s "Excellence in Loss Prevention and Risk Management" efforts in 2006. The criteria utilized for the selection of these awards included each Company’s performance with respect to risk management goals & objectives established by APi Group. The categories that were evaluated included, but were not limited to:

An entity EMR < the Corporate EMR of .74
An OSHA Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) < 3.0
An OSHA Frequency Rate (FR) of 0.0
A Total Incurred Loss Cost / Hour < $.30 / Hour
Entity has a Company Safety Committee that generates corrective action plans and maintains
safety awareness
Entity has committed itself to the STEPS Program / Process.

Jamar Staff Accepts X-Cup Award

Each company received the official X-Cup trophy as well as a luncheon for their employees honoring their outstanding performance in 2006. The trophies will remain at each location until they are awarded again next Spring. In addition, banners were presented to each Company to be displayed in the location of their choice. We congratulate all the employees at both Industrial Fabricators and The Jamar Company for their efforts and for making 2006 a safe and successful year. Great job!
