APi Group, Inc. is a family of companies that proudly traces its roots back to 1913. Our mission is and will continue to be to contribute to building a safer environment in the areas we choose to do business.

APi Inc., our founding company, began as the small insulation contracting and distribution arm of mechanical contracting company Reuben L. Anderson-Cherne. Lee Reuben Anderson became president in 1964 and under his leadership expanded operations in the Midwest region reaching revenues of approximately $30 million.

In 1980, Anderson launched strategic initiative to diversify and expand within the construction and construction-related industries. The APi Group is now a collection of more than 26 independently managed companies, arranged in five industry groups, which provide specialized construction and construction-related services. Today, APi Group employs over 5,000 people and performs annual revenues in excess of $900 million.

  • Specialized building systems for the protection of people, property, production and profitability;
