United Piping, Inc. (UPI) is a heavy mechanical and piping contractor serving the oil and gas industry. We focus on facility construction as a mechanical or general contractor. Our range of facility installations include:

UPI built a 10,000 square foot pipe fabricating facility equipped with 15 tons of overhead crane capacity and two submerged automatic welding bays. Other welding processes include, Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW), Shield Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW).

UPI is a Certified UA (United Association) Pipe Welding Facility and ASME, “U”, “PP” and NBIC “R” stamp holders.

At our facility, we also complete high yield carbon and stainless steel pipe fabrications for third party installers. We have in-house pipe welding capacity to 60 inches O.D. and our wall thickness is unlimited. Welding to ASME and API Codes are our specialty. We carry out welding engineering and welding procedure qualifications on-site including low temperature procedures to -50 F.

We assemble large pipe fabrications on-site and ship to the field by our own heavy haul trucks if required. To date we have shipped single assemblies over-the-road that have measured up to 18 feet wide and more than 16 feet high.

UPI also highlights its pipeline maintenance capabilities. We have installed more than 5,000 feet of tight fitting welded sleeves on large diameter pipeline (in-service) up to 48 inches in diameter and more than 500 anomaly (corrosion, dent, crack, leak) digs for several regional pipeline operators. We also spray and apply underground protective (epoxy) coatings for pipeline remediation/rehabilitation projects.
