Employee safety is our highest priority. We respect safe work practices and strive to send our employees home the same way they arrived. With dedicated safety professionals throughout APi, our commitment shows when we have zero-loss time injury and collectively win awards for workplace safety.

Our Risk Management department and safety professionals built a world-class safety and health program that is the foundation for our policies and procedures. Our Experience Modification Rate, incident and frequency rates, and overall loss was largely reduced with the execution of this program.

STEPS: Striving Towards Excellence & Professionalism in Safety

We complete the STEPS to:

Train each employee,
Be accountable for workplace safety,
Pre-plan projects to reduce incidents, injury and illness,
Enforce safe work practice as a shared responsibility,
Investigate any unsafe incident, correct the action to prevent reoccurrence.
