CAD Draftsperson

APi Company: Grunau Company, Inc.
Location: Oak Creek, WI

Requirements: The Grunau Company is looking for an entry to mid-level CAD Draftsperson to work full-time in our Oak Creek office. Individual shall have good knowledge of AutoCAD; a positive, team-oriented attitude; and a willingness to learn. Any experience with construction, architecture and/or mechanical design a plus.

Skills:
• Good knowledge AutoCAD version 2004 required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook a plus.
• Good math skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read blue prints desirable.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare AutoCAD design drawings (2-dimensional) for HVAC piping and sheetmetal, plumbing, and process piping.
• Assist mechanical systems coordinators with 3-dimension drawings; setting up drawings and updating backgrounds.
• Preparation of Operation & Maintenance manuals.
• Assist project managers with shop drawing submittals.
• As-build drawings (2-dimensional).
• Plotting drawings for various project managers and others.
• Occasional large format copying for various project managers.
• Occasional minor plotter maintenance.
Pay Range: Pay depends on your level of experience and education.
