3D CAD HVAC Piping Coordinator

APi Company: Grunau Company, Inc.

Location: Oak Creek, WI

Requirements: The Grunau Company is looking for a 3D CAD HVAC Piping Coordinator to work full-time in our Oak Creek office. Individual shall have good knowledge of AutoCAD; working knowledge of HVAC piping systems and a positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn. Any experience with construction, architecture and/or mechanical design a plus.

SKILLS
• Good knowledge AutoCAD version 2004 or higher required.
• Working knowledge of practical piping applications required.
• Experience with 3-Dimensional drawings a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook a plus.
• Good math skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read blue prints.

Responsibilities:
• Become part of a CAD/Coordination Team responsible for the using diagrammatic design drawings to produce 3 dimensional prefabrication/installation drawings.
• Primarily responsible for coordination of HVAC Piping Systems.
• Responsible for integrating HVAC, Fire Protection, and Electrical with Plumbing layout.
• Responsible for confirming compliance with the Design Intent.
• Responsible for supporting Field Personnel with prefabrication/installation drawings.
• Responsible for applying company standard installation practices in layout.
• Regularly communicate with Field Foreman.
• Occasionally attend job meetings.
• Assist project managers with shop drawing submittals.
• Prepare As-Built drawings.

Pay Range: Pay depends on your level of experience and education.
