APi Group Wounded Warrior Development Program

Program Description: This development program was designed to assist wounded veterans in their transition to civilian employment, specifically a specialty construction project manager. Selected (best qualified) wounded veterans will experience an approximate 12-month developmental rotation program with up to three different APi Group companies (in diverse specialty construction industries). Additional development will be provided through formal educational and certification opportunities. These rotations will expose participants to the fundamental knowledge and skills required to perform in a project manager role. At the completion of the program, veterans will be placed in one of APi Group's operating companies within the United States. It is likely that veterans will not immediately assume full project manager duties / title upon completion of the program. Most program participants will need to acquire additional experience before given complete project management responsibility.
While structured, this program is also intended to be flexible. The duration of the program can be shortened, should a company offer, and the veteran accept, an offer of employment during the rotation process. Additionally, it is possible that the veteran might identify a different career preference (e.g. designer, sales, etc.) during his / her rotational experience. If this were to occur, APi Group would be willing to consider altering the development program in order to support that preference.
Rotations will be conducted in the Minneapolis / St, Paul, MN area. Therefore, relocation to the MSP area (for the duration of the development program) is a requirement. Veterans will have input as to their permanent employment placement at the completion of the program.
