Mark Polovitz is vice president and controller of APi Group Inc., the parent company to more than 40 independently managed life safety, energy, specialty construction and infrastructure companies located in over 200 locations worldwide.
Polovitz joined APi Group in January 2009 as an assistant controller. In 2010, he was tasked with converting the companies onto APi Group’s internal web-based accounting system. Polovitz was promoted to vice president and controller in July 2011 and is responsible for the accounting activities of APi Group and its subsidiaries.
Prior to joining APi Group, Polovitz became a certified public accountant (CPA) and worked with the Private Company Services Group in the Minneapolis office of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He received a bachelor of accountancy and business administration from University of North Dakota.
Polovitz enjoys hunting, hockey, being on the water, and spending time with his wife and two children.
