Michael Wagner is vice president of Tessier’s Inc., a mechanical contracting organization founded in 1919 and currently maintains divisional offices in Mitchell, Sioux Falls and Rapid City, South Dakota.
Wagner earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering degree from Wichita State University. He attended college on the G.I. Bill and worked simultaneously for a consulting engineering firm.
Wagner has been associated with Tessier’s for twenty-six years and has been involved in the mechanical construction industry for more than thirty-five years, including several years early in his career in the consulting engineering field.
Wagner is a licensed professional engineer in multiple states; a LEED® AP BD&C accredited professional; an NEBB certified professional; and holds various master mechanic licenses in the states of South Dakota and Iowa.
Wagner is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers – past president of the South Dakota Chapter; the Minnesota Environmental Balancing Bureau; past chairman of the City of Sioux Falls Mechanical Board of Appeals; and a member of various church and civic organizations.
Wagner and his wife, Candy, are the parents of three children. Outside interests and activities include sporting clays, guitar, word games and golf.
