Jim Torborg is one of APi Group Inc.'s four COOs.
Torborg’s 35-year career has included stops within many different facets of the construction industry that led to his key leadership role at APi Group.
Torborg worked for a national industrial general contractor for 19 years. He began as a quality control manager and then served as a field engineer, project manager, project superintendent, and finally worked within the business development group.
In 2001 Torborg joined APi Group. He worked on business improvement initiatives and in 2004 was named president of both LeJeune Steel Company and Doody Mechanical.
Today, Torborg’s primary business focus is to develop a culture of continuous improvement and growth though leadership, mentoring, and business process improvement.
Torborg is actively involved with Summit Academy, a local non-profit skills training organization focused on giving low-income adults access to training and development leading to self-sufficiency and prideful community involvement.
