Scott Kyrola is the president of Northland Constructors, an infrastructure company headquartered in Duluth, Minnesota, that specializes in numerous facets of highway heavy and specialty construction within the northern Minnesota, northern Wisconsin, and parts of North Dakota region and beyond.
Scott graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He earned his professional engineer license in 2001.
Prior to his employment with Northland Constructors, he worked in both the public and private sectors. He started his career as a field engineer and worked his way to an estimator / project manager. In 2007, he was named vice president of Northland Constructors. Then, in 2017, he was promoted to president.
He served as a director of the Duluth Builders Exchange from 2008 to 2010. He is currently serving on the University of Minnesota Duluth Civil Engineering Advisory Board.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife, Dawn, and their two children, doing anything outdoors.
