Sunland's continued growth has resulted in an immediate need for a Fire Sprinkler Designer to work out of our High Point, NC office.

RESPONSIBILITIES include:

Designing water-based automatic fire sprinkler systems to contract specifications and NFPA and local codes.

Hydraulically calculating systems.

Confirming intent in Design Kick-Off meetings and sales layout and work with sales personnel.

Coordinating with all trades in design phase.

Site visits and communication with field and jurisdictional personnel.

Stock listing within software.

Assisting Fabrication Manager ordering all materials for systems.

Attending progress meetings as needed or as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS include:

At least 3-4 years design experience in the fire sprinkler industry.

Working knowledge of HYDRA CAD, AUTOSPRINK, AUTOCAD and other fire protection design software.

NICET Level II certification preferred.
