Account Manager

The primary purpose of this position is to work directly with Tenet Segment Leaders and Business development to grow market share, increase revenue with new and existing customers, assist in launching, developing strategy, and support new and existing product lines. Responsible for prospecting new vendors, vendor set up, purchasing, establishing stock levels, and providing operational support. Work directly with customers to provide sales support, administrative functions, and process sales ensuring that customer needs are met. Help determine pricing, prepare quotes and product packages, track projects and provide customer service throughout the sales process to completion. Conduct market research, help create budgets, and assist in all aspects of managing assigned product segments.
Requirements:
- Two years sales support experience in a high-volume sales environment.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn customized business systems.
- Valid driver’s license with clear driving record, with ability to travel.
- Knowledge of construction and construction related supplies preferred.

- Receive, research, and prepare sales proposals and/or product information requests from the Business Development team and customers.
- Work with the purchasing team and vendors to review product research, request and determine pricing, and confirm product availability. Assist in procurement and inventory management.
- Prepare quotes and submit product information packages for review and approval.
- Research and resolve questions and comments from co-workers and customers, modifying proposals as needed and updating customer information.
- Contact customers to follow up on bids, project submittals; tracks upcoming projects as required.
- Ensure the delivery of personalized customer service; enter work orders for execution by warehouse staff.
- Coordinate deliveries with the warehouse and answer sales calls for general information.
- Forge new and develop existing customer relationships and create and maintain vendor relationships.
- Prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Perform additional duties as needed
