Northland Constructors of Duluth, LLC

Northland Constructors was founded in 1970 by CEO, Jim Holmgren. Jim and his team serve northern Minnesota and northern Wisconsin on highway heavy projects including earthwork / utilities, asphalt paving, crushing, and concrete flatwork / bridges and have become a regional leader in a wide variety of highway heavy project capabilities. Northland Constructors customers include the following:

• State, county and city governments
• Other governmental agencies including the Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
• Private industry sectors including oil and gas, power generation, and railroad customers

Our team includes ownership, management and field personnel. The organization is a partner with a number of local unions that provide skilled labor. These unions include operators, laborers, carpenters, teamsters and cement finishers. A dedicated support staff provides resources in accounting, contracts, safety, maintenance, surveying and a variety of other disciplines.
